C.o.c.o.i. Curiosities

A1 posters & booklets different sizes

This is a documentation of the first ever C.o.c.o.i. at its initial exhibition.
Some of the initial curiosities can be found below.

The world is a concept, created by interpretation. It is full of curiosities waiting to be explored.

In a Cabinet of Curiosities, multiple objects or curiosities are brought together by one person. These curiosities have the opportunity to present themselves while simultaneously entering into dialogue with each other and their spectator: the interpretor.

Every now and then new curiosities will be published. All curiosities contain different layers of information and no medium is set. The first curiosities were exhibited during the graduation exhibition at AKV | St. Joost in June 2014.

When sent by mail, all curiosities are wrapped with an image that symbolizes the design-system used while creating it. These images are made with plain white paper; even plain white paper can be a curiosity by itself with multiple layers of interpretation to explore.

If you want to subscribe for curiosities or if you want to stay up to date, please contact Emmy personally at emmy@thevisualtheatre.nl and don't forget to have a look at the C.o.c.o.i. project website.
